More Than 3,500 New COVID-19 Cases Reported In Ohio In A Single Day
Ohio set another single-day record of new COVID-19 cases being reported in a single day. Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine said there were 3,590 new cases reported in the last 24 hours. He said this was over 25 percent higher than the previous highest number of cases. This is the first time that there have been over 3,000 cases since the beginning of the pandemic.
There were only 19 COVID-19-related deaths reported in the same time period. There were 99 new cases reported in Warren County over the previous day, but there were no deaths reported in Warren County. There have been 4,711 COVID-19-related deaths reported in Warren County and 208,937 COVID-19-related deaths reported statewide.
There have now been more than nine million COVID-19 cases reported in the United States since the beginning of the pandemic.
