I met BK in 2009 and I had no idea he could cook.  We worked together in a profession completely unrelated to cooking.  I had a ton of respect for him.  He was extremely passionate, extremely talented and always willing to help others improve their skills.

I have known that BK had started his own catering company.  I admired him for it, but I never ate any of his food until today.  Lately, he has been making a lot of cookies and I know he has been very successful lately.  When he told me that he had some varieties of oatmeal cookies for Oatmeal Cookie Month, I ordered a dozen oatmeal raisin cookies from him.  I received them today.

I've eaten my share of cookies.  I've eaten some very good ones and I have eaten some that I will try very hard to never eat again.  BK's cookies are some of the best cookies that have ever been in my mouth.  There are some cookies that fall apart too easily and others are too hard.  These cookies stick together very well, but they aren't hard at all.  In fact, these cookies will practically melt in your mouth.

No matter what I am eating, I am always looking for flavor.  The combination of ingredients creates a wonderful taste.  These cookies are not bland at all.  I don't know how BK did it, but he has found a way to maximize flavor.  As I write this, I am thinking about eating another cookie.

The flavors available for October are Reese's Peanut Butter, pumpkin spice with a salted caramel glaze and Reece's Pieces cookies.  BK's Catering Co. has a page on Facebook. BK can also be contacted at bkscatering@yahoo.com.
